We will provide an opportunity for sharing best practices as well as networking with colleagues across campus. CUMU Learning & Sharing Virtual Series
The Coalition of Urban and Metropolitan Universities (CUMU) Learning & Sharing Virtual Series is a free, CUMU members-only program focused on critical dialogue with practical takeaways that create action. This virtual series brings together CUMU administrators, faculty, staff, students, and community partners to learn from one another and share challenges and successes on a set of discrete issue areas. This virtual series is offered at no-cost to CUMU members and their partners. Ohio State is a CUMU member.Read more

This years recipients include Generation Rx, South Africa Antibiotic Stewardship "Train the Trainer" Pharmacist's Mentoring Program, The OHIO Project, and Mentoring to Be Active: Promoting Adolescent Health in Appalachia.
A mission to help those forgotten
Christian McGhee has walked among the homeless. Hes mentored juveniles in a correctional facility. Hes seen what happens when children struggle to hang on, to survive. Instead of drifting away, following any number of career paths open to him, McGhee is helping children and teens leaving correctional centers create a future.
Ohio States Mobile Design Lab puts digital skills on the move
The Ohio State Universitys Digital Flagship initiative is hitting the road. A shiny, black recreational vehicle was parked in front of the Recreation and Physical Activity Center on a recent Wednesday afternoon. The RV packs enough horsepower to crisscross the Buckeye state in comfort. But its intellectual muscle that really powers the new Mobile Design Lab.
New POP Care healthcare model to improve health of homebound adults and their pets
Both human and animal patients stand to benefit from an innovative new model of healthcare launched today by leaders of The Ohio State University Colleges of Nursing, Veterinary Medicine and Social Work. The POP (Pet Owner and Pet) Care pilot program is funded through a Hillman Foundation Emergent Innovations grant. It joins the knowledge and service of three academic colleges to transition a pattern of reactive sick care into proactive, holistic well care for homebound adults with multiple chronic conditions and their pets.
