Arts Engagement Grant Opportunities
Over the next three years, the Office of Outreach and Engagement will offer "Spark" grants, funded by the Mellon Foundation, to Ohio State faculty, students and staff for engagement projects that center the arts, especially projects done in partnership with communities served by our regional campuses. Applications will be judged on multiple criteria: (i) the innovative and cross-disciplinary nature of the proposal, (ii) its intended impact on a well-defined community or demographic, (iii) the geographic scope of the project and (iv) its potential for scalability or sustainability with outside funding.
During this first year of the program, grants will be funded to a maximum of $25,000. Proposals should be no more than two pages in length, plus an itemized budget, and show evidence of input in the planning process from community partners.
Applications were April 12, 2024 for this round of grants.
